What is covered?
- Manufacturing defects that affect the mat’s structure or usability.
- Faults that prevent the mat from delivering its expected performance within one year from the purchase date.
- Damage caused by improper care, storage, or cleaning methods.
- Damage resulting from the use of essential oils or chemical cleaners, which can compromise the mat’s integrity.
- Normal wear and tear, including changes in color or surface appearance due to regular use.
Care Guidelines for Ever Grip Mats
To ensure the longevity and performance of your mat, we recommend following these care instructions:
Cleaning Your Mat
- Weekly Cleaning: After regular or extra sweaty practices, clean your mat with a diluted lemon solution. Simply squeeze fresh lemon juice into warm water and wipe the mat with a damp cloth. This helps remove dirt, sweat, and oils that can clog the mat’s pores.
- Deep Clean: For a deeper clean, you can add a small amount of baking soda to your cleaning mix. However, limit deep cleaning to occasional use, as overuse can wear down the surface. Alternatively, diluted white vinegar is an excellent, affordable option that’s gentle on the mat.
- What to Avoid: Do not use essential oils, including natural ones like lavender, as they can clog the mat’s pores and affect grip. Avoid chemical-filled sprays or cleaners, as they may damage the surface.
Storage & Handling
- Avoid Folding: Do not fold your Ever Grip mat or allow the PU surface to touch itself or another PU mat. This could damage the material and impact its grip.
- Keep Away from Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can degrade your mat. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- No Oils or Lotions: Please avoid practicing with sun cream, body lotion, or hand cream on your skin, as these substances can block the mat’s pores, reducing its grip and durability.
Why Cleaning Your Mat is Important
Natural PU rubber mats, like ours, act like skin—absorbing sweat and oils during use. Without regular cleaning, the mat’s surface can clog, which affects both hygiene and grip. By cleaning your mat, you:- Maintain its superior grip.
- Reduce sweat marks and surface streaks.
- Prolong its life and performance.
